It is said that Rules are for the guidance of the wise man and the adherence of fools, This group was set up to be run with as little formality as is possible.
But to run a group we need to have a formal lay out of rules just in case we ever run into a problem.
This booklet contains hopefully all that the “wise members” of UK Home front will ever need to know.
Now let’s all go & enjoy ourselves!
Ian Day
Chairman
2-HEALTH AND SAFETY
UK Homefront needs to ensure that every event is not only enjoyable but as safe as can be. To ensure this here are a few simple guide lines.
1.The “battle bus” will have in it a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
2.The emergency muster point for UK Homefront members at any event will be the “battle bus”, unless the event organiser nominates another muster point.
3.Generic risk assessments for all of our displays and scenario’s have been completed.
4.A mobile phone will be carried by one nominated person at each event (on silent) to be used in case of an emergency.
UK Homefront will maintain a £5,000,000 third party public liability insurance policy. Hopefully this will cover everything we need.
